About The Event

We invite you to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the film adaption of Alan Moore’s 1987 limited comic series with a meeting of masked vigilantes! Come dressed as your favorite costumed hero and learn from screenwriter David Hayter (X-Men, X2, The Scorpion King) how Watchmen went from page to screen!

Watchmen takes place in an alternate 1985 America, in which costumed superheroes are part of the fabric of everyday society. When a former colleague is murdered, the masked vigilante Rorschach sets out to uncover a plot to kill and discredit all past and present superheroes. He reconnects with his former crime-fighting legion—a ragtag group of retired superheroes. Their mission is to watch over humanity…but who is watching the Watchmen?

Don’t forget to come in costume! We’d love to see any and all superhero themed cosplay you’ve got to show us! Be sure to arrive early, as doors open at 7:30 p.m. and the Q&A and film start at 8:00 p.m.

Tickets for this special event are $15.00, and are available at The Frida Cinema's box office, and online at https://boxoffice.diamondticketing.com/fridacinema/purchase/365006
